Dear Students,
We send you information about the Course "Visual training for oculomotor, accommodative and binocular dysfunctions" organized by the Complutense Summer School. Vision Therapy is a specific clinical field of the Optician-Optometrist, in which an inefficient visual system is restored. There are a number of visual dysfunctions that can cause symptoms or performance problems in close activities, especially important in the school stage or in work environments with a high demand for close work.
During the course, all the steps will be taken to understand the diagnosis and treatment of these problems. The course consists of 75 hours of training, which includes a significant number of practices. This makes it a complete and eminently practical training for those who want to get started in Vision Therapy.
This year, the course will be held in English, so it will be an opportunity to meet optometrists from other countries.
The Complutense Summer School is a project managed by the UCM General Foundation, which consists of the development of specialized higher courses during the month of July.

Student profile: Opticians and Opticians-Optometrists. Students in the last two years of the Degree in Optics and Optometry, interested in specializing in Visual Therapy treatments.
